– Specialised Training College Students (STC) for 2025

Level Undergraduate level leading to Certificate
Age Applicants, in principle, must be born on or after 2 April, 2000.
Fields of study (1) Choose a preferred field of study from among (A) to (F) below:
(A) Technology (B) Personal Care and Nutrition (C) Education and Welfare (D) Business (E) Fashion and Home Economics (F) Culture and General Education(2) Choose the preferred subject(s) from the “Name of Subjects” listed in the chosen field of study on the Annex “Majors and Related Subjects for Fields of Study”. Applicants may enter a first and second choice of subjects from the same field of study.

Qualifications and Conditions In addition to the Qualifications and Conditions listed in the Guidelines, minimum of 60% marks in 12th (or 11th or 10th) grade are required.

* Preference will be given to candidates with Japanese Language proficiency.

Term of scholarship From April 2025 to March 2028 (Including one-year preparatory education in the Japanese language and other subjects needed for the preparation to proceed to a Specialized Training College.)
Number of scholarships About 12 (Those appx. 12 applicants who successfully pass the first screening will proceed to the world-wide final screening by MEXT.)
Stipend 117,000 Yen/month (Approx. Rs.63,300 per month
Tuition fees Exempted
Airfare Round-trip airfare will be provided
